Police spokesman Kevin Malatesta says previous calls to the home where the shooting occurred lead investigators to suspect a drug connection.

Police received a call of shots fired at the home at around 4:30 p.m. Monday. They say they arrested 25-year-old Andrew Weaver, of Cheyenne, in a nearby field a couple hours later.

Police identified him as Andrew Weaver, of Cheyenne. There was no information on whether Weaver had an attorney.
