The National Weather Service has issued the following statement:

At 705 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to slow-moving thunderstorms in the Casper area. This will cause urban and small stream flooding in the advisory area. Radar estimates 0.50 to up to one inch of rain has fallen in parts of Casper with the heaviest amounts around and north of Evansville. Low-lying roads and intersections may be flooded.

Some locations that will experience flooding include: Casper, Mills, Evansville and Bar Nunn.

This includes Interstate 25 between mile markers 176 and 202.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you can do so safely. Turn around, don`t drown.
