According to the release, a professional portrait photographer will be on site to take pictures of couples, and instant photo prints will be available on site by Wyoming Camera Outfitters. Flower bouquet giveaways will be provided by Keefe’s.

Last month, Jackie Landess of the Downtown Development Authority told Oil City News that nearly 10,000 skaters had visited the rink in its first season, which started just after Thanksgiving.

“It’s amazing, honestly,” said Landess. “Considering it’s our first year, we’re pretty excited about that.”

After today, the leased chiller that keeps the ice will be dismantled and returned, and the ice will be allowed to melt on its own.

The splash pad is scheduled to open on June 1st.
