Coroner identifies woman from Casper Mountain accident

The Natrona County Coroner’s Office has identified a woman, whom officials say died after she was buried under a snow slide on Casper Mountain.

Officials at the Coroner’s office say that Kathy L. Sullivan, age 67, was identified as having died March 11th.

Natrona County Sheriff’s Officials say that Sullivan was trapped under a significant amount of snow, that had fallen off of the roof of a house.

Information received by deputies was that Sullivan was clearing snow from the roof at the time of the incident.

According to a release from the NCSO, first responders arrived and dug in the snow for approximately 30 minutes, before locating the woman. First responders immediately provided life-saving measures, and she was transported to the Wyoming Medical Center.

Sullivan later died as a result of the injuries she sustained during the incident.
