School board accepts nine bids totaling over $620,000

CASPER, Wyo. — The Natrona County School District Board of Trustees accepted nine separate bids totaling $621,284.02 during their Monday, April 22 school board meeting. The bids were for improvement projects or materials to be used in the district.

Casper Electric Inc.’s $142,000 bid to carry out lighting replacements at Evansville Elementary School received the board’s approval. Casper Electric submitted the lowest of four bids for the project.

A DeMoulin Brothers’ $125,140.02 bid to replace Kelly Walsh High School band uniforms was the lowest of three bids. The school board accepted this bid.

The trustees approved Ramshorn Construction Inc.’s $104,000 bid for paving repairs at Midwest School. Two other companies submitted higher bids.

The school board accepted the only bid for exterior lighting replacements at Bar Nunn Elementary School, a $54,500 bid from City Service Electric Company Inc.

Horsely Specialties Inc.’s $36,468 bid to carry out siding abatement at the Kelly Walsh High School stadium was approved by the school board. This was the lowest of six bids on the project.

The school board accepted three bids from Bargreen Ellingson’s. They accepted Bargreen Ellingson’s $62,297 bid for the Dean Morgan Middle School serving line. Bargreen Ellingson was the only company to submit a bid.

They also accepted Bargreen Ellingson’s $56,548 bid for convection ovens at Centennial Middle School. This was the lowest of four bids.

The trustees also approved another Bargreen Ellingson bid, $15,383 for Casper Classical Academy dishwashers. Their’s was the lower of two bids.

Wyoming Office Products and Interiors’ $24,948 bid to provide white copy paper to NCSD was also accepted. Their’s was the lowest of five bids.
