CASPER, Wyo. — The Casper Police Department is investigating a shooting incident in a Casper subdivision west of Paradise Valley.

According to officers on scene, they responded to a call at approximately 8:40 pm, reporting a shooting incident on the 3400 block of Concho Ct.

Police released few details, citing the fact that the case was still under investigation. However, they did confirm that a vehicle in the neighborhood was struck by gunfire.

Police say that nobody was in the car at the time of the shooting, no injuries were reported, and there was no damage to the surrounding homes.

Officers on scene told Oil City reporteres that they believe the incident was targeted and that there is no current threat to the community.
