Deputies responded to the 3600 block of Blue Sage Lane in Natrona County, and responding officials say that upon arrival they believed that a male suspect and a suspected victim were inside a private residence. Deputies report that the male suspect did not respond to law enforcement calls at the door.

Courtney says that the SRT was dispatched to the area, citing that the team deals with negotiations and investigators were concerned about the suspect’s previous criminal history for violent crimes.

The suspect, later identified as Martin, reportedly came out of the home eventually, although specific details were not released.

Martin was taken into custody, and a victim was reportedly treated at a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries, according to Courtney.

All of those cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. Charges are subject to change following official filings from the Natrona County District Attorney’s Office.

UPDATE: A booking photo for Martin was made available after this story originally published. That photo was added to this story at 1:30 pm, June 3, 2019. It replaces an NCSO file photo.
