Girls’ basketball camp offered at Casper College

CASPER, Wyo. — Elementary and middle school girls can join a basketball camp at Casper College next week.

The Casper College Girls’ Basketball Camp will go from June 10-12 with a morning session geared toward grades 3-5 and the afternoon sessions for grades 6-8.

Registration is open and costs $75 per person, according to this Casper College announcement.

“The camp will be taught by both Women’s Basketball Head Coach Dwight Gunnare and Assistant Coach Nate Macy,” Casper College said. “Those attending camp will be taught the skills and team aspect of the sport of basketball.”

Both sessions will take place in the “Swede” Erickson Thunderbird Gym with the morning session set to run from 9-11 am and the afternoon session from 1-3 pm.

The girls will receive a basketball and a t-shirt for their participation, the announcement continues.
