Improvement funding set aside for four Casper schools


CASPER, Wyo. — Four Natrona schools will receive funding for maintenance and safety-related improvements.

The projects received the Natrona County School District school board’s approval on Monday, June 11.

The largest project in terms of funding is a $150,000 project to add a bus-lane to safely drop off students at the entrance of Evansville Elementary School.

The maintenance projects have a total cost of $70,000.

$10,000 have been set aside to replace basketball boards, hoops and poles at Centennial Middle School. A door position monitor at Centennial will cost $25,000.

$30,000 has been set aside to replace carpets at Crest Hill Elementary.

A project to reseal the front entry of the Southridge Elementary building comes with a $5,000 price tag.
