UW pep rally filled with Cowboy spirit (Gallery)

A sea of brown and gold filled David Street Station Thursday night for the University of Wyoming Pep Rally.

Despite the looming gray clouds, the crowd buzzed as the evening opened up with the Western Thunder Marching Band and the UW cheerleaders. Cheerleaders gave out sparkly stickers and fan-favorite Pistol Pete posed for photos.

The Children’s Chorale performed “Ragtime Cowboy Joe” ahead of speeches from the university’s acting president Neil Theobald, Cowboy team coaches, and Cowboy athletes.
