The scripts for the plays were written by Sofia Newsome who won first place in a state “Young Authors Fiction” competition.

The performances will be about 30 minutes each with a 10 minute intermission in between.

“Please bring a blanket or chairs to sit on to enjoy the show,” the theatre said. “You may also want to bring a lunch or snacks.”

People can register their kids for the Children’s Theatre’s July Summer on the Stage Camps on site. Those camps have the theme of “Musical Madness.”

The performances are free and open to the public.
