NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights to give hockey clinic in Casper

CASPER, Wyo. — Some of the Las Vegas Golden Knights National Hockey League players are coming to the Casper Ice Arena.

They’ll be joined by the Golden Knights broadcaster Gary Lawless, who will “be availabe to talk hockey with fans,” the City of Casper Parks and Recreation Division said.

The “Las Vegas Golden Knights Road Trip” stop in Casper will occur on Wednesday, August 7.

NHL players Cody Glass and Nic Hague will host some hockey clinics on that day.

“The hockey camp will be split into two 45-minutes sessions from 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m,” the announcement adds. “Registration is a on a first come, first serve basis and hockey protective equipment is required.”

Those camps are as follows:

  • Ages 10-Under:  9:00 a.m. – 9:45 a.m.
  • Ages 11- Above: 9:45 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

Each group can facilitate up to 40 participants. Registration is free and can be completed online. (Search VGK Hockey on that website).
