Fort Caspar brings history to life with ‘Gold Hunters’ class

CASPER, Wyo. — As part of their “Hands-On History” class series, Fort Caspar Museum will host a “Gold Hunters” class on Saturday, August 10th from 1-3 pm.

This class, for those aged 5 to 105, will teach participants about 1800s gold seekers and before learning to pan for real gold, according to the museum.

Participants at Fort Caspar’s Gold Hunters class this weekend can pan for real gold to take home.

The program is $3 for museum members or $5 for non-members. An adult must accompany participants aged 5 and 6.
