CASPER, Wyo. — Sales and use tax collections are up in Natrona County according to a new August economic indicators report.
Through the first six months of 2019, such collections were up 16.8% over the three-year average. That amounts to $6.1 million in excess of that average.
“Natrona County’s collection of the 4 percent sales and use tax reached $8.0 million in June of 2019 (these are July 2019 collections that for the most part represent sales that took place in June 2019), $0.2 million higher than collections from a year ago,” Jim Robinson, principal economist for Wyoming’s Economic Analysis Division added.
