CASPER, Wyo. — Casper College will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the nursing program with an open house from 1-4 pm Saturday, Sept. 7.
The open house for the anniversary of the H.E. Stuckenhoff School of Nursing will be at the Saunders Health Science Center on the CC campus.
“’We are hoping to see past graduates, faculty, and the residents of Natrona County at our open house,’ said Marge Christiansen.”

Casper Colleges announcement adds that the event “will feature tours of the facilities including the inter-professional Health Science Simulation Center.”
“The Casper College Nursing Program began offering an associate degree in nursing in the fall semester of 1969,” the announcement says. “According to Christiansen, director of nursing, nearly 1800 nursing students have graduated from Casper College since 1969.”
The event is free and open to the public. Cake and refreshments will be served.
