CASPER, Wyo. — A private landowner has placed private property and no trespassing signs along Natrona County Road 505.
This road, also called South Circle Drive, is a public road that provides access from Casper Mountain to Muddy Mountain and also provides access to WY-487.
The signs may give the impression that the road is barred to public access, which is not the case.

Natrona County Road & Bridge Superintendent Mike Haigler said on Tuesday, Sept. 10 that they had recently been notified of the presence of the signs.
Haigler said he hadn’t yet had a chance to go check to see whether the signs were still in place.
He said that such no trespassing signs cannot be posted along a public right-of-way.
If the signs are still up when Road & Bridge goes to check, Haigler says they will notify the landowner that the signs need to be moved off of the right-of-way.
