Casper’s newest Mexican restaurant gets liquor license

CASPER, Wyo. — A restaurant liquor license has been granted to a new Mexican restaurant in Casper.

El Burro Loco is located at 2333 East Yellowstone Highway.

The Casper City Council granted the restaurant liquor license during their Tuesday, Sept. 17 meeting. That allows the restaurant to begin serving alcohol.

Co-owner Marisela Moreno says the restaurant plans to open at 5 pm Friday.

El Burro Loco’s menu features the following items:

  • tortas (rolls stuffed with meats)
  • chilaquiles (corn chips smothered in meats, cheese and sauces)
  • tacos
  • burritos
  • breakfast items

The restaurant also plans to serve Mexican desserts and beer.

It is located at the address of the former Western Grill in Casper.

The Western Grill was a landmark for hungry travelers and Casper residents since 1956.
