CASPER, Wyo. — The Casper Police Department is seeking information on two possibly related vehicle burglaries.

Both burglaries took place between 5-8 am Tuesday, Oct. 15 while owners were inside two different fitness locations, according to a release.

“In both instances, vehicle windows were broken and items from inside the vehicles were taken,” Casped PD adds. “A white sedan was reported as a suspicious vehicle in relation to both crimes.”

Similar vehicle burglaries have been reported in Cheyenne recently.

“Those reports also include a suspicious white sedan in the area at the time of the crime,” Casper PD adds.

“If you have any information, please contact the Casper Police Department at (307) 235-8278 or you can make an anonymous tip through CrimeStoppers of Central Wyoming by calling (307) 577-8477 or online
at crime-stoppers.com.”

They also urge motorists to lock items in trunks or glove boxes, keep them out of sight or remove them from the vehicle.

“If you are not in your vehicle, please do not leave items in plain view,” said Casper Police Sergeant Sara Nelson. “Lock items in your trunk, put them in the glove box, or remove them from your vehicle altogether. Never leave valuables, including firearms, in your car and always lock your vehicle.”
