The pursuit ended with the blue suspect vehicle hitting a tree near the corner of 11th and Wolcott. Prior to this, officials say a civilian vehicle was struck a few blocks away.

They described that vehicle as sustaining minor damage.

The male suspect and the female were reportedly transported to an area hospital for undisclosed injuries. The injuries were discribed as non-life threatening.

Police say the male is suspected in the theft of guns and vehicles, and they say they anticipate filing multiple felony level charges in the case. The arrest of an additional suspect in that case was announced earlier Thursday.

The investigation has prompted police to urge vehicle and gun owners to keep vehicles locked and firearms out of sight while unattended.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
