CASPER, Wyo. — Parents who would like a little peace of mind or kids who are curious to get a different perspective on their Halloween scores can bring their candy to the Wyoming Medical Center.

The WMC’s Urgent Care East is offering free X-rays of Halloween candy from 3-11 pm Oct. 31-Nov. 1.

“While our technicians are not able to make recommendations on the safety of the candy, the service is offered to give parents peace of mind,” WMC Spokeswoman Kristy Bleizeffer said in an announcement. “It is also fun for parents and children to see all the different densities, shapes, and sizes of their favorite treats through the X-ray lens.”

Urgent Care East is located on the WMC’s East Campus at 6600 East Second Street.

“It is open from 3 to 11 p.m. every Monday through Friday,” the release adds.
