CASPER, Wyo. — Crews from Natrona County Fire and Mills Fire were summoned to a barn fire in Natrona County just after midnight on Nov. e, 2019.
According to records from the Natrona County Sheriff’s Office, a call was received at approximately 12:15 am, Saturday, for a report of a structure fire. Reporting parties said that their barn had caught fire and spread to some nearby grass.
Deputies report that they arrived to private property on Engburg Road, in Natrona County, to find a “medium sized barn completely engulfed.”

Fire personnel from Natrona County Fire and Mills Fire arrived and extinguished the flames.
The NCSO incident report says that the property owners were contacted, and they told investigators that they had been sleeping and were awoken by the sound of dogs barking, and observed the barn on fire.
The homeowner said that a heat lamp may have been left on in the barn, and may have been the cause of the fire.
The incident is being investigated by the Natrona County Fire District.
