CASPER, Wyo. — The Olivia Caldwell Foundation donated $100,000 toward pediatric cancer research during their annual dinner on Saturday, Nov. 16.
The donation was made to Dr. Nick Foreman’s pediatric neuro-oncology research lab at Children’s Hospital Colorado.
“‘After this latest donation we’ve now given an absolutely incredible $425,000 to pediatric cancer research in just six years,’ said Katie Caldwell-Burchett, CEO/Founder of the Olivia Caldwell Foundation. ‘The research we’ve been able to fund has led to the cure for several types of pediatric cancer, including the one that took the life of my own daughter.'”

Foreman provided an update on the latest research and future direction during the dinner.
Jennifer Knotts, director of Outreach & Partnerships at Children’s Hospital Colorado also spoke about the opening of the Pediatric Specialty Outreach Clinic in Casper.
