CASPER, Wyo. — The Wyoming Rescue Mission offers a “Discipleship Recovery Program” to people struggling with substance addictions.
Members of that program will be distributing food boxes to families in need in neighborhoods around the mission on Friday, Nov. 22.
100 of the Thanksgiving meal boxes will be delivered. Some of the items included are mashed potatoes, stuffing mix and cranberry sauce.

“The community does so much to support us, that we also want to support those in our community who need a helping hand during the holiday season,” said Dave Matthews, Director of Men’s Services at the Wyoming Rescue Mission.
The food distribution efforts begin at 5 pm.
“The Discipleship Recovery Program is a year-long, faith-based program with 4 phases that ultimately empower guests to be independent, stable community members,” the mission adds.
