CASPER, Wyo. – About 70,000 lights on 40 trees dazzled a crowd gathered in Conwell Park on Sunday evening during the annual Holiday Square lighting event.
City of Casper installed the lights early this month in preparation for the annual event, which started two-decades ago when the Wyoming Medical Center coordinated with the city to give hospital patients some Christmas cheer through their windows.
