(Casper, WY) — The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for Friday and Saturday, November 29th and 30th. Snow is expected to move into the area Friday into Friday night. Moderate to heavy snow will be possible through Saturday afternoon. Strong winds are also possible, especially for Natrona and Johnson Counties Friday night and Saturday.

Total snow accumulations of 6 to 11 inches are possible. Winds could gust as high as 60 mph in Johnson County where blizzard conditions are possible. The National Weather service cautions that travel could be very difficult. Considerable blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility with strong winds causing possible tree damage.
