CASPER, Wyo. — Casper Mountain Road, or WY 251, has reopened.
The road had been closed since Nov. 30 following a snow storm which dumped 24.5 inches on the mountain.
The road is again open on Monday, Dec. 2, though the Wyoming Department of Transportation cautions that it may be slick in spots with blowing snow.

The National Weather Service in Riverton shared snowfall totals from what they are referring to as a “late November winter storm.”
“The heaviest snow fell from Friday afternoon through Saturday morning,” the NWS said.
From Friday through Sunday morning, Casper Mountain saw 24.5 inches.
Casper saw about 7.8 inches.
