CASPER, Wyo. — “Ice Slicer” is a melting compound product the City of Casper uses to clear streets after snowstorms.

The city council approved a one-year contract with Desert Mountain Corporation to provide the product. They did so via resolution on Tuesday, Dec. 3.

The contract authorizes up to $300,000 worth of the product at $108.45 a ton be purchased for delivery to the city as needed over the next year.
