CASPER, Wyo. — Wyoming saw multiple road closures throughout much of Tuesday, Dec. 3.
Those included full closures between Laramie and Rawlins on I-80 and a variety of closures for “light, high profile vehicles” on portions of both I-25 and I-80.
Winter weather conditions, wind and crashes were responsible for the wave of closures across the state.

However, the majority of closures have been lifted, according to the Wyoming Department of Transportation.
Excepting seasonal closures, the only highway still seeing closures due to current conditions is a portion of WY 77.
That highway is closed due to winter conditions between the south junction with WY 487 and the northbound closure gate at mile marker 132 and between the southbound closure gate at mile marker 142 and the north junction with WY 487. The portion in between these closed areas is closed for the season.
Black ice conditions are in effect on a variety of Wyoming highways.
