CASPER, Wyo. — A large camper-style recreational vehicle and a truck it was pulling caught fire along I-90 near the Wyoming-South Dakota border.
“The driver of an eastbound RV pulling a 2019 Ford F-150 noticed smoke coming from the towed vehicle,” the South Dakota Highway Patrol said.
The incident occurred on Thursday, Dec. 5.

“The driver pulled the unit over safely to the side of the road when the F-150 started on fire,” SDHP added. “The driver and passenger safely exited the vehicle.”
“The pick-up was a total loss and the RV sustained major damage to the rear end.”
South Dakota Nothern Hills Troopers and the Spearfish Fire Department responded to the scene along with assistance from the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.
The fire department was able to put out the fire.
