“We also encourage victims of this theft to submit any home video surveillance of these crimes to the Casper Police Department,” the Casper PD added.
The suspects involved in this case were reportedly arrested on Saturday, December 7th, 2019.
One adult male suspect and two juveniles were arrested in connection to these crimes.
“Sadly, the holiday season is a common time for criminals to steal mail packages from people’s homes,” said Casper Police Sergeant Mitch Baker. “Thankfully, there are a few things consumers can do to help keep their presents safe. Most mail delivery carriers allow you to track your package so you know when it’s been delivered but many also give you the option to schedule a delivery time. When ordering, some retailers even give the option to require a signature upon delivery. Together, we are committed to putting an end to these types of crimes in our community.”
