CASPER, Wyo. — People may want to stop misinforming their children.
While Santa may live at the North Pole, the Tate Geological Museum suggests he may also be a dinosaur. He’ll be in attendance at their annual Holiday Open House from 10 am to 2 pm Saturday, Dec. 14.
“Santasaurus will be on hand for fun photos, and visitors can make origami dinosaur ornaments, their own fossil cast of a tooth or claw, play games, and have their mystery fossils identified through the Fossil Road Show,” Casper College says. “Author Casey Rislov will also be back to host a children’s story time full of fun and Christmas cheer.”

Treats will be served and P. Hawk Roasters will be providing coffee and tea. according to Patti Finkle, director of museums.
“The gift shop will feature beautiful rock and mineral samples, natural gemstone jewelry, unique fossil dishes, and dozens of stocking stuffers,” Tate Director Patti Finkle says.
The open house is free and open to all ages. The Tate Geological Museum is located on the Casper College campus.
