Mom and boy who had seizures present Riverton police officer with life saving award

CASPER, Wyo. — Two Riverton Police Department officers have been presented with life saving awards for their actions.

Those include Officer Billy Whiteplume and Officer David Milovich.

“Officer Whiteplume received a life saving award from Sebastian and his mother,” Riverton PD said on Friday, Dec. 20. “Officer Whiteplume responded to a call where Sebastian was unresponsive and experiencing Atonic Seizures.”

He was able to keep the boy stable until the ambulance arrived on scene.

“Officer Milovich received two life saving awards last night for pulling a man from a crashed vehicle that had began a fire underneath it,” Riverton PD says.

His second life saving award was for performing CPR on a woman successfully re-establishing her pulse.
