CASPER, Wyo. — Some Verda James Elementary School fifth-graders came up with a way to support the community this holiday season.
“If you’ve ever wondered about the next generation of Casperites, let us tell you – they are pretty incredible,” the Casper Police Department said on Friday, Dec. 20. “On their own, they decided to help those in need who utilize the services and shelter of the Self-Help Center in Casper.”
The students donated self-hygeine items to the Self-Help Center. The police department says the students worked together to gather donations from local businesses.
