CASPER, Wyo. — A total of four skimming devices have been located at Norfolk, Nebraska gas stations.
“Skimming devices are designed to steal your credit card information when you pay at the gas pump with a credit card,” the Norfolk Police Division said on Monday, Jan. 20. “We believe that the devices were installed on the pumps on Friday the 17th or Saturday the 18th.”
“If you have purchased gasoline at a gas station in Norfolk since that time, using a credit card, please review your bank statements for any suspicious activity.”

Police say they are investigating gas stations and looking for a suspect.
“The suspect is described as a Hispanic male driving at beige SUV,” Norfolk Police add. “There is a second passenger in the car with the suspect – unknown description at this time. We are working on the video and will get a photos out as soon as we can.”
The devices have been located at Casey’s West, HyVee West and Louie’s Liquor in Norfolk.
“Norfolk PD is in the process of contact all gasoline stations in Norfolk to notify them of this information. Anyone with information is requested to contact the Norfolk Police Division at 402-644-8700.”
