NCSD Meals: Friday’s meals to be handed out Thursday, because of Holiday

Pineview Elementary School is a pick up location for student meals during the COVID-19 closures (NCSD)

CASPER, Wyo. —  The Natrona County School District will be handing out extra meals to youth in the county, in advance of the Good Friday holiday this week.

Good Friday is April 10, 2020.

NCSD officials say that food Service will be handing out Friday’s breakfast and lunch with Thursday’s meals. NCSD Food Service sites will be closed on Friday.

Otherwise, NCSD says that food service will continue to provide a takeaway breakfast and lunch meal, M-F, from 11:30am – 1:00pm, to all individuals 18 years and under.

Individuals may pick-up meals for their siblings and family members 18 years and under to help assist in maintaining social distancing.

Individuals 18 years and younger can pick-up meals at the following locations:

  • Oregon Trail Elementary
  • Sagewood Elementary
  • Pineview Elementary
  • Poison Spider School
  • Roosevelt High School
  • Bar Nunn Elementary
  • Mountain View Baptist Church
  • Cottonwood Elementary
  • Evansville Elementary
  • Journey Elementary
  • Boys & Girls Club Main Branch
  • Paradise Valley Elementary
  • Casper Rec Center
  • Midwest School
  • Verda James Elementary

Signage will be outside to direct individuals where to pick-up the meal.
