Today’s tiny COVID concert: Prairie Wildfire

Prairie Wildfire sets toes a’tappin during their one-song, tiny COVID concert recorded for Oil City News. (YouTube)

All this month, Oil City News is rolling out a series of tiny COVID concerts*, one-song sets from local artists who aim to lift our readers’ spirits while also sharing their gifts with the community they love.

Today’s tiny COVID concert comes to us from Prairie Wildfire, a trio of gals from Buffalo, Wyoming playing a blend of bluegrass, country, and gospel. Sage (mandolin) Morgan (bass) and Holly (guitar) recorded this ALL NEW original tune to brighten your day and get your weekend off to a happy start! Though two of the girls are still in high school, these ladies have built a remarkable resume, performing at festivals, in the historic Occidental Saloon, at dude ranches, and at music venues throughout the region.

If you’d like to learn more about the band be sure to check out their website at or on Facebook: . You can also support the band by making a contribution at (and you should!)
