CASPER, Wyo — A number of stores at Eastridge Mall are expected to open or expand their hours and services. Beginning Friday, May 1, the mall website’s COVID-19 Update page will be updated daily with the stores’ new hours and accommodations.

Rhett Robison, General Manager of the Eastridge Mall, says he expects Dick’s Sporting Goods to be opening to store traffic as early as Friday. Robison said he expects Dick’s will be open 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., with the 8:00 a.m.-9:00 a.m. hour reserved for senior and other at-risk populations.

All stores in the mall will manage their own social distancing and health measures. Robison said the Eastridge Mall’s own health-protection procedures for common areas will remain in effect, including more frequent cleaning of “highly-touchable areas.”

Pro Image Sports, the sports apparel store, is expected to open Friday at noon with “responsible” health and safety measures, according to Todd Nelson, the store’s manager.

Robison also confirmed that Elite Day Spa, Massage Chinese, and the fashion store Buckle are expected to open over the next week. Riddle’s Jewelry has remained open throughout the pandemic.

Best Buy is currently operating under reduced hours and offers curbside service only, no foot traffic. Mall management is unaware of any forthcoming modifications to the policy and the store could not be reached for comment.

All food court businesses are available for take-out from their storefronts.

Eastridge Mall hours will be Monday-Saturday: 11:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m, and Sunday: 12:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.

Robison says he’s unaware of any current tenants who are closing permanently.

Note: Dick’s Sporting Goods, a major chain retailer, was unable to comment on their plans to open. Additional sources reported the store may be open until 8:00 p.m.
