CASPER, Wyo. — Kevin O’Hearn was appointed by the Natrona County Commissioners on Tuesday to the House District 59 seat in the Wyoming House of Representatives.

O’Hearn will fill the vacancy created after former HD 59 Representative Bunky Loucks resigned. The Wyoming Legislative Service Office (LSO) says that a swearing-in ceremony for O’Hearn will be held at 11 am Thursday, July 30 at the Wyoming Capitol in Cheyenne.

“Chief Justice Michael K. Davis of the Wyoming Supreme Court will administer the oath of office and Speaker of the House Steve Harshman will preside over the ceremony,” the LSO says.

O’Hearn is the Town of Mills building inspector and assistant town planner. His appointment to the Wyoming House will last through the remainder of the year.
