CASPER, Wyo —The Wyoming Public Service Commission (WPSC) released notice Tuesday that it will hold a public comment hearing September 15 regarding Rocky Mountain Power (RMP)’s request for a utility rate increase. In-person, teleconference, and virtual meeting attendance options are available.
RMP is requesting an average overall retail electric utility service rate increase of 1.1%, which would raise an additional $7.1 million per annum, according to the release. The rate increase would take effect January 1, 2021. Rate mitigation proposals and changes to the Energy Cost Adjustment Mechanism to include a recovery of $219.9 million are part of the proposal.

The hearing will bein Tuesday, September 15, 2020, in the Commission’s hearing room located at 2515 Warren Avenue, Suite 300, Cheyenne, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
