CASPER, Wyo. — Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon has ordered that Wyoming State flags be flown at half staff at the Capitol in Cheyenne and in Teton and Fremont County on Thursday, Sept. 17.
Gordon issued the order in honor of former Wyoming Senator Grant Larson.
“Mr. Larson served in the Wyoming Senate from 1995-2010 representing District 17 and was President of the Senate in 2005 and 2006,” Gordon’s office said on Wednesday. “He passed away September 11, 2020.”

Gordon’s office noted that the order is only for the Wyoming State Flag in the locations mentioned above.
“Other flags should remain at full-staff,” the release states.
