CASPER, Wyo — Effective Oct. 20, the Natrona County Commission has lifted the partial fire ban put in place July 1.
The resolution was part of the commissioners’ consent agenda at their regular meeting Tuesday night.
Though the resolution says that the “fire danger conditions that have existed since July have abated,” Commissioner Jim Milne issued a caveat:

“It’s real dry out there, we still gotta be careful,” Milne said.
Chairman Rob Hendry agreed, saying that although snow was expected this weekend, now was not the time get complacent with fire.
