CASPER, Wyo. – Lines were a common sight around polling stations in Natrona County on Tuesday, Nov. 3.

The fairgrounds Industrial Building, which contains several precincts and naturally has the most traffic, saw steady lines out the door and at some points along the parking lot to the front gate.

Poll manager Ardell Breed says 3,091 people had voted there by 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, some ninety minutes before polls closed. She said around 1,800 voters were registering for the first time.

“We have a little cheering squad each time we signed one up,” she said.

On Monday, Natrona County clerk Tracy Good said the election office had received “well over 16,000” early ballots since Sept. 18.

Some 35,385 votes were counted on Tuesday night in Natrona County. The full results can be seen here.
