CASPER, Wyo — Temperatures will remain below normal this week, and widespread snow showers are expected Tuesday night through Thursday in central Wyoming, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Riverton.
The front will push up from the south Tuesday night, with snow spreading northward overnight. Snowfall and windy conditions across Sweetwater County could create difficult travel with reductions to visibility along Interstate 80, NWS said.
Showers will increase throughout Wednesday, continuing through Thursday for most of the area. Showers will decrease in coverage Thursday night, but will linger on Friday, NWS added.
