CASPER, Wyo. — The Casper City Council approved an application for a new restaurant liquor license for “Lime Leaf Asian Bistro” during their Tuesday, May 4 meeting.

While the same owners previously held a restaurant liquor license at Lime Leaf’s 845 East Second Street location, city staff explain in a memo that they did not renew the license because the establishment was only doing take-out orders.

Since Lime Leaf has recently decided to re-open for dine-in service, they applied for a new restaurant liquor license in order to be able to serve alcoholic beverages to customers.

Restaurant liquor licenses cost $1,500 in Casper. There is no limit on the number of restaurant liquor licenses which can be issued. The license requires that a majority of the businesses sales come from food.

Further details are available in the city council’s work packet.
