CASPER, Wyo. — The Central Wyoming Fair & Rodeo Parade is returning to Casper this summer after a hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The theme of the parade is “It’s A Grand Old Flag!”
“There are a few route changes this year to be aware of,” the Casper Police Department said on Tuesday. “Take the time to plan ahead.”
The parade is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 13 at the intersection of Ash Street and West Yellowstone Highway. As the parade moves east, it will enter East Second Street before turning south onto South Beech Street. There, the parade will approach a new parade viewing area reserved for people with disabilities. That accessible viewing area will be located across from Skyline Towers near the park on Collins Drive.
The parade will turn west onto Collins Drive, before heading south on Center Street. The parade will pass by City Park before coming to an end at the corner of Center and Ninth Street.
The parade is a kickoff to the annual Central Wyoming Fair & Rodeo.
