David Street Station announces line-up to close out Summer Concert Series

The Powell Brothers (David Street Station)

CASPER, Wyo. — On Monday, David Street Station announced the lineups for the three free shows that will round out the 2021 Summer Concert Series.

“There’s nothing like free live music, under the downtown lights and big Wyoming sky,” the Station said. “If you haven’t been able to catch a concert with us this summer, now is the time!”

Traveling all the way from Houston, Texas, the country duo The Powell Brothers will take the stage Friday, August 13. The free concert starts at 6:00 p.m.

The Station promised “a huge sound and high energy show from start to finish,” resulting in an unforgettable performance from the power duo. The Brothers have shared the stage with big musical acts including Lee Brice, Jon Pardi, Brothers Osborne, Billy Currington, Cody Johnson, Granger Smith and more, according to the release.

Local favorite Zack Schommer, known for his originals as well as a variety covers, will open the show.

The next show will be rising Nashville star Sean Stemaly, playing on Friday, August 20

“If you like your country music cranked up loud, and kicking up your boots, this concert is for you!” the Station said.

The concert season will wrap the next day (Saturday, August 21) during the 5150’ Festival, with live music from 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

This will be an all-Wyomingite jam featuring Casper local Kaspen Haley, Sheridan-based The Dugan Irby Band, and rising country stars Tris and Ian Munsick.

As the Station’s summer concert series 2021 nears its end, special thanks are in order for sponsor Hilltop Bank for their “unwavering support,” the release said.

“Without them, it wouldn’t have been possible to bring so many amazing artists to our stage this season.”

The 5150’ Festival is hosted in conjunction with Visit Casper.
