One of my favorite pastimes is going to the local movie theaters in town. This weekend, I took my family out to see Free Guy, the new movie with Ryan Reynolds! The best quote of the movie is, “Don’t have a good day, have a great day!” In that same spirit and with the sun shining today, I hope you all have a great day! We have one more week of summer (before the kids go back to school), so let’s have a BLAST! (Oh, and if you get the chance, I highly suggest this fun family-friendly movie!)
Check out what the Breeze blew in from this weekend: read the details on the Riverfest and duck derby, see all the photos from the 5150′ Festival at David Street Station, and check out the Casper Children’s Theater’s grand opening event!
Casper should be seeing a high of 89°F today with plenty of lovely sunshine. That Breeze is coming from the SW at 15 to 25 mph.

The Weekend Gust
Many of you might be asking what a duck derby is. (Don’t worry: I had to look it up myself!) It turns out that a duck derby is an event with rubber duck decoration and release! At Riverfest this weekend, they released hundreds of rubber ducks into the Platte River to support the expansion of the river trails throughout Casper. Take a look at these amazing photos of all the rubber ducks!

Close of the live concert season
As summer is sadly coming to an end, so are the live concerts at David Street Station. The 5150′ festival closed out the season with some awesome bands! Graham Good & The Painters filled in for Ian Munsick as the headliner band with less than 48 hours’ notice. It’s awesome to see people come together and work to make everything extra special at David Street Station!

Casper Children’s Theater Grand Opening
This Thursday, Casper Children’s Theater is celebrating their grand opening and ribbon cutting! This family-friendly event will have performances, food, and fun for the kids. The nonprofit is excited to be able to expand their platform. They already serve over 100 children, but are hoping to bring the love of theater and dance to all who are interested.
