CASPER, Wyo. — After two years, Stage III has another escape room, this time with a ‘Peanuts’ theme to go along with the season-opening production of “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown.”
“Come play in the world of Charles Schulz’s classic cartoon characters and see if you can help Charlie out of a tight spot before time is up in ‘It’s the Great Escape, Charlie Brown!'” said Pat Greiner on social media. She and Lorie Ordiway are the designers of the immersive puzzle, according to theater director Kris Kontour.
Teams have one hour to solve all the rooms; the fastest time so far is 45:45.
“So far our escape rate is 66%,” Greiner posted Monday. “And our ‘we had a great time’ rate is 100%”.
The escape room will run through September 18. There’s room for up to six players per session, and every room is a private room — “you will never be mixed in with other people, even if you have fewer than six in your group.”
Tickets are $20 each, and times can be reserved at StageIIITheatre.org.
