CASPER, Wyo. — The Casper City Council will be holding a regular meeting starting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, September 7 at Casper City Hall.
During the pre-meeting, starting at 5:30 p.m., the council will discuss next steps in filling the vacancy in the council left by Council member Khrystyn Lutz’s departure. Ward 1 residents had until Friday, September 3 to apply to fill the vacancy. The city council is expected to interview eligible candidates on September 15-16 and provisionally accept a candidate by September 16.
During Tuesday’s meeting, the city council will consider a range of projects, including whether to authorize a fencing project that aims to keep dogs out of wetland habitat near Morad Park.

Other projects up for consideration Tuesday include whether to authorize a grant with the Wyoming Department of Transportation for the Paradise Valley to Robertson Road Bridge Project.
Another item from the agenda asks the council to consider authorizing the transfer of Partytime Liquor’s retail liquor license to a new location at the Compass on the east side of town.
The council will also hold a final vote on a zone change for the Back Nine Addition and for the Trails West Estates No. 5 Addition.
