CASPER, Wyo. — The University of Wyoming said it will hold a listening session Thursday, September 16 to receive comment on the university’s proposal to eliminate master’s degrees in political science and international studies.
These degrees are among a number of low-enrollment programs identified for elimination as part of a multifaceted academic restructuring plan for the university, UW said.
Under UW Regulation 2-13, which governs program discontinuance, reorganization, consolidation or reduction, the administration is accepting input on the plan before presenting a final proposal to the UW Board of Trustees.
